Feeder guppy breeding help

Haha yup!

I'm actually starting a 10 gallon with guppies to breed for my future bichir tank.

I'll let them overpopulate for a few months and then let one 3" bichir slowly reduce population.

I notice guppy fry love to hide near my moss and roots.

Get some frogbit too. Fish love hiding in those.

Lots of floating fake or real plants for the fry to hide in from there hungry mothers

You want a lot of hiding place using plants, and you want to have a good temp. as that will be the key factor for breeding. around 80 should work pretty well.

A 2" female can give you 20+ fry i usually try to find young large females.
