Maybe you should stop relying on feeders. There is no way your fish are going to die if they don't get fed for a few days, even a few weeks is most likely not going to kill them.

am i doing a wrong thing? I have a 4" mono right now and have been feeding it mostly pellet, Hikari bio gold sinking and massivore.. along with some raw meat stripes..

But is feeder a requirement?

Yup that would have costed me a severe beating about the lips and face, and I probably would have to replace the feeder tank as well...

Moms have a way of cleaning what needs to be clean, they really don't waste time cleaning "clean" stuff...Maybe you should keep it cleaner so it doesn't attract the "MoM-dar"??!?

What size of tank and filtration do you have for 5000 guppies, seems that is alot of feeders even if they are .25" long.
That's still 1250 inches of fish

you have no idea who i am and were i live and my scenario and you still tell me what i allready know.. apperantly the "lessons learned" forums are more intence and stupid than cichla forums.
