Feeder shock

I would inspect the feeders for before I fed them. Most store bought feeders are kept in crowded tank conditions with murky water because of the obvious......they're feeders! That means that the feeders you are buying might be keeling over because they were already stressed to oblivion or half dead before they wound up in your tank. Just curious, what kind of fish are you wanting to feed with feeders? Also what type of feeders are you buying? (are they goldfish, livebearers etc)
There was a lake by my house when I was a kid that was full of golfish,carp and hybrids,caught plenty of big goldfish on hook and line.used to dip net small ones out to keep in tank and release them back when they got too big.
