Howdy,

it's best to isolate the fish.

Man, J., you're right... fish stopped eating a while ago, and I broke down this weekend and set up my old 75 gal tank, got it out of the crawl space. Cleaned one of my Eheim 2262 (wasn't gonna, but needed the active biomedia) and set up my crappy Eheim 2080. I am seriously bummed.

Here's the back of the fish. Other side looks the same :(

I blacked out most of the tank to keep him calm

Treating w/ Melafix, keeping lots of oxygen in the water. Still not eating...

Suggestions on temperature? How high?

AArrgh, and having said that, I am said to share with you that one of the pirayas in my main tank got a really bad 5''x1'' heater burn while I was out of town. Is in pretty rough shape ... refused food, too :shakehead

This is not my lucky month ...

Do you have prazipro handy? Try giving a dose of that and watch over a few days to see if it helps. Keep tank well aerated.

BTW, prazi is generally safe and doesn't harm bio filtration. So it shouldn't have any negative impacts on giving it a try.

Praziquantel is against parasites ... Not the problem here. But thanks anyways.
