Feeders keep dying before i get to feed them to anything!!!

With out a doubt I bet ich has something to do with it as well. I just had a breeding 10g tank of rossies and tried to cure the ich that they always usually have had them for the full nine weeks and noticed the new borns had ich immediatly. I tried using ich guard and lost all 50 and I started off with twenty five. So I would say ich is the culprit. It's almost with rossies once they have it the have it and it's only a matter of time. Oh well I am going to have to start over from scratch. But the temprature advice might help you as well the do not like deg. over 80 unless you gradually work it up to that deg. I know that Petsmart keeps the feeder tank at 65-70 deg. Sorry so long.

I wouldn't even try with these feeders unless I have to...I'd assume they are sick and that is why they died, and wouldn't risk the health of my fish with feeders in general, or at least from that source, unless I had fish that absolutely refuse any other food.

It has been my experience that feeder die-off is related to the general health of the feeders purchased. I have seen a BIG difference in the survival rate of feeders from different aquarium stores. I don't think they are infected with a particular disease. Rather, they've been raised under suboptimal conditions and just can't take the stress of being moved to a new environment. My suggestion is to find a different supplier.
