I know everyone here hates feeders because of the fat and disease, but i had nothing but good results using them. Knock on wood never got a disease from them (yet). I only had ick twice but that was from the fish i bought that came with ick a jag and jd. I use rosey reds once a week and i feel it keeps the fish active. After doing feeders the next day i clean the tank and do a water change. I also use mealworms three times a week and other days omega one and krill. I feel my fish grow quicker with the live foods. As soon as my small cichlids reach the size they can eat feeders and worms they take off in size!!!
