Hi,yes bloodworms are an excellent food for small fishes.

1.5" may be too small for guppies

... I have a baby Cichla with no I.D (Yet) and I picked him up going on 2 weeks ago and tossed in guppies when he was 1.5 maybe 1.25" and he took it... Id say it was a male guppy close to adult size
I was surprised the little porker took him down

Id do guppies off the bat and just add salt in the tank... even when you do water changes

I was feeding feeders to my pack of baby Orinos till last Wed. Now they are on 100% Diced market shrimp 2Xs a day... their bellys get huge

The little guy will be joining the feast in a couple weeks but is still on feeders as of right now
