I just chop up frozen tiger shrimp into small pieces, add Kent Zoe freshwater and add Cichlid Bio gold small pellets, let it sit for a couple of minutes and put it in the freezer. I got this recipe off another site and it works really well.

Interesting combination. Does that fulfill the fishes normal food needs, as well as their vitamin needs? I'd be inclined to try that myself. Does that make a solid block that you later break into smaller pieces, or do you have some kind of container to hold it? Or do you simply feed the entire block?

PS: Thanks for all of your advice everyone. I tonight bought a small bit of tallapia(sp?) and cut a small piece of which is now sitting in his tank. Im leaving it there for a little longer, and if it remains, I try again tomorrow.

I just put it in a zip lock and cut pieces off at feeding time, the block will usually last me a month and costs around 20
