is this a bad idea? i have one thats just about over the edge and was wonderin if my bichir would appreciate a little snack.

id say it would be fine, as theres a chance the corys spines could get em, but corys dont have very promanent spines, go for it

if the poly is a decent size than is prob oK but why risk it? why even take the chance?

ya im gonna just trash the cory in the morning if he doesnt pull through tonigh

Not a good idea IME.

My pike cichlid ate a 1"cory back when he was about 8 inches. It nearly killed him. The spines did not dissolve inside him and he ended up passing the head and pectoral spines whole. I still cannot believe that he was able to. I would never chance it again.

why is it almost dead? disease?? very bad idea for that reason alone.

Plus the spines issue.

BAD BAD BAD IDEA!!! corys are poisionous it would probly kill your Poly

i just found this out about 5 hours ago! was at the lfs and i was talking with one of the guys there, and he said the are poisionous, and that most of the guys that farm them have to retire early, they end up like mad hatters... he said to put a few corys in a bad with some other fish, then walk around with them for a half hour, all the other fish will be dead!

its dying cuz of high nitrite levels, hes the cycling fish, i decided not to and just trash him in the morning if he dont pull thru
