I've translated my old spreadsheet (with ChatGPT) that helps estimate the desired food weight based on fish size, required biomedia volume, filtration quality, and final concentrations of nitrates, phosphates, bacterial biomass, as well as the required volumes of ion exchange resins or absorbers, plant mass growth, etc.

Lol, let's not get carried away here; duanes is absolutely anal about nitrate, make no mistake. But this is not a competition; there is no reason why we cannot have more than one biochemical policeman/vigilante roaming the bad streets of aquarium town.

Personally, I got a huge kick out of that little "enjoy!" at the end of the post.

I missed that bit at the end, I must have fallen asleep half way through!!

I'm a bit of a details man myself at times, but taking it to the absolute unnecessary extremes as this is, well, all I can say is.....wow....again!

Anyway I must dash, I need to check I've got the correct quantity of ion exchange resin in my filter!

I, for one, know for a fact that I have exactly the quantity of ion-exchange resin that I intended to have. Same with all that other stuff, too...
