Hi,

I have wet-dry / overflow filter. When I feeding my fish almost all food in 2 sec. goes into overflow. I sow ring that is float and inside this ring we can put some food.

Do you have the same problem like I have ? What to do ?

Thanks

i use an overflow but i add nets to the overflow so my food will stick in da nets and my arowana can take it out =D

Turn off the filter during feeding. Can you direct the return to push the surface water away from your overflow?

How big is this tank, sounds small. How big is your arowana and what type is it?

oh yea iv used the overflow for like 10 years and havent any problems

what kind of overflow?
with PVC overflows you can add an PVC U-elbow to make it face downwards, so that the water intake is submerged rather than right at the surface. make sure part of the the U is above the water level though.

Maybe you could add some pics or be more descriptive of your tank and overflow. This way better input can be provided.

Tank is 180 gal. Fish: Black Arowana (just arrived, that why she doesn't eat immediately, she needs time to feel at home) size: 9-10".

Thanks for helping.

gratz post pictures of da black soon =D
