Is the catfish you have in your picture the catfish in the 55g?

I would not feed hot dogs. Cheese fries are the way to go joking good luck and do water changes you should be fine. My dad gave his pirhana lunch meat :0 I also wouldn't recommend that. I use to feed my catfish raw shrimp

Yeah that's his staple diet is shrimp cuz I have a Florida gar in there as well
