I got a green bubble tip anemone about 2 weeks ago and the previous owner fed it silversides. I was wondering if it would be safe to feed it golden shiners (freshwater) that I have frozen. Obviously I would thaw them first.

I feed my anemone frozen uncooked shrimp from Meijer (it was on sale 2 bags for $5.99). I thaw one or two and peel them before I feed, I have used frozen smelt from Kroger, but my anemone wouldn't grab hold of them.
I ended up just buying some frozen silversides to be safe. Ill use the minnows for bait or something
