wait i didn't see that it had 3 spots...LOL yup hes orinos...IMO but i like to leave it to other more knowledgable people with cichlas...i just don't wanna be turned down for bad info...=] but those do look very similar to what my orinos looked like when small. So yea...

Don't be so sure... That's what mine looked like at times but everyone is saying mono but mine is a couple inches bigger;)

In my experience I have never seen anyone up until the last few months... maybe 6 or 7 months.. even THINK they could ID a Cichla at 2-4" As they can change drastically.. With exception of Temensis until the last week. Temensis was seemingly the only easily ID'd Cichla til last week.

In my opinion. I would wait til the fish are 10" and you will have a ROCK solid ID ;)

anything under 4 was always guessed on.. Or Stated too small..

Especially with the Wrench thorwn in by A certain vendor.. And the Very questionable Cichla ID that was said to be sold.. In about 4 more months there in my opinion will be no doubts as to the exact ID of said cichla. JUST my OPINION ;)

Start feeding guppies.. Those fish should double in size in two weeks.

Cicha Lovers have patience, Daniel Son.. Smile now and have fun.. If they are not what they were sold as.. Cry later when you have rock solid evidence.. And if they are.. Well Laugh your A off .
