Congrats on the pups! How big are the parents and the pups?

Nice gallery Ped.
Give those "live" bloodworms a go,this will stimulate a feeding response from the new borns.....you can get them onto frozen bloodworms later then Myssis shrimp etc.
Good luck!

You cant beat expert advice . i have purchased a supply of live bloodworm and using it as suggested . I have been doing regular water changes as standard since having the rays ,since the pups have hit the scene i have been more wary replacing the water removed while syphoning out uneaten food items ,The pups seem to be getting more confident hiding in the sand less often . The parents are abit more cramped as the tank is partitioned but i did not want to risk moving the pups . I think i will add a extra external filter which i can pinch and use on a future tank for the pups. I have no plans to move them and hope they will come on ok as they seem settled where they are. it would be nice later on to move the parents to a bigger tank .thanks PED

The pups are doing well ,and are very active .Have continued to feed live bloodworm, chopped earthworm and whiteworm.Any uneaten food is removed and water changes are done with hma water and intermitantly ro water ,the ph is stable around 7 . I have posted some pictures already and will update them soon . The pups are still in the partitioned section of the main tank as i dont want to upset anything ,i can only hope that things continue as they are.The parents are doing fine and feeding well and look mint .I breed various other fish and it is time consuming keeping everything going ,so i dont spend alot of time on the computer Thanks ped .
