feeding cichlid babies

What kind of babies? I generally start with First Bites, or very finely crushed flake. My husband makes a fry mix in our blender as well.
I feed growth formula to fry i am trying to grow. LOL otherwise they get left over pellets in the tank. LOL
Some of them are still in the main tank and eat the little bits of flake and hikari gold pellets. They are eureka red peacocks and electric yellows. They just seem to be growing soo slow i figured if i fed them bbs they would grow alot faster?
İ took the Hikari gold cichlid pellet, dip it in the water, then crush it into a mushy paste, drop it into the tank and it falls to the bottom and is easily edible by all the babies, not only does it supply plenty of the vitamins and supplements for adult fish to grow, but works equally well on babies =)
When you feed the others make sure you fine crush with your fingers some flakes and they will make it to them if they are left in the main tank with the parents..
