I'll be the devil's advocate here. Yes, you can and they will love them. Here's my caution: make sure to either raise them yourself or buy them as food for your fish. Finding them around the house has the potential of chemicals and/or poisons. Finding them out in fields or orchards could result in the same thing. Finding them out on non-cultured land is probably okay.
Raise some red wigglers in a compost from your food waste and it's even better. You can order them online too, they breed like crazy in a 3x3x3 compost bin.
