Feeding clownloach cucumber

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
don't blanche , it gets messy faster... In order to get them to associate with food.. I would rub some garlic juice on a cuke sliced lengthwise.. After they saw it as a food source. I would just rise and drop a whole weighted zuke or cuke inbetween the plecos and loaches it would be 90% devoured in the morning.

I always feed Loaches and Plecos at lights out before I retire for the evening.
Cukes I would take out whatever is left the next morning .. P.S. once the start eating vegetables mine used to eat yams as well , upside to this is they last longer in the water before getting mushy. spinach leaves are also great looks like somebody went crazy with a paper punch.

Add meat to their diet and watch them get fat and grow.( mussels, snails, beefheart, oysters, silversides, tipalia fillets)

Before I started making my Veggie Cubes (spinach, Cuke, yellow squash, zucchini and Garlic extract in a blender, poured into Ice Cube trays and the frozen) I used a plastic christmas ornament yard stake (upside down), wedged into the gravel and would spear slices onto it. I would alternate them so that they were off center. After the first couple of times doin this, they did get used to it and enjoyed having the fresh veggies. I will warn you though, if you have live plants in your tank, the CL's WILL get their FRESH veggies one way or the other......
