When I lived on Kauai, Hawaii (10+ years ago), there was a fancy restaurant named "Roy's". They had this awesome appetizer that the wife and I still salivate over when remembering it: garlic sauteed escargo served over mashed sweet purple potatoes
I'm curious if you ended up feeding them the cooked apple snails and if your fish liked them etc? I as well have seen only cooked snails at the asian market and have debated buying them a few times. As well as cooked clam/mussel, any experiences?
