feeding dwarf puffers

i wouldn't thionk that their mouths are large enough for krill, but i got them feeding regularly on BW and some tubifex.
 
i just aquired 5 of those little guys this past sunday and they didnt toutch anything i put in the tank. when i put in the bloodworms they came right over and ate them in front of me. i assume that this will all that they really love to eat.
have you gotten them to eat anything else? i tried squid, clam and crab before the worms.
 
i've tryed tubifex but they don't really seem interested. little snails are supposed to work beautifully, and maybe baby brine shrimp. the color of the BW seem to be important cause if the cube it a few days old (they can't eat a whole cube so it lasts a few days) someof the worms losecolor and they dont get eaten. just an observation.
 
it could have been because they were very hungry, but mine ate every worm i put into the tank, about a half of a cube.

i dont get it if they were very hungry they would have eaten everything not just the red ones? or am i not understanding that properly?
 
they hadnt really eaten anything untill then. i tried a few different things and they didnt eat it. when i tried the bloodworms they ate all of it.
 
yeah they seem to go apeshizz over BW lol
i'm thinking of moving mine into a 25 when i get more plants in there, i would love to see pics of your tank
