Hey guys im setting up a predator tank and there seems to be no way around feeders so I have a few questions about them: which kind is the best as in healthiest to feed, how should I feed them, and what is your overall opiniun of using feeders?

Thanks SpJc11

im not going to vote because first of all i dont have a fish that could eat feeders, well maybe rosey reds, but not big feeders. second of all the options arent that many on your poll. i would say,"no i dont feed feeders because they often carry disease and have low nutrition value"

I have a 10gallon feeder tank and they are fed every other day and I have copper medication in the water for any possible parasites.

I have a breeding guppy tank that I feed to my fish here and there. They're only a treat that I know are disease free because I've raised them myself.

Do you mean you're raising your own feeders? Why would you need copper meds in your feeder tank?

What kind of predator tank? You should try everything you can to get them on a healthy pellet diet. Feeders hardly have any nutritional value.
