feeding fish human food?

I know a guy who feeds his fish broccoli, Im intrested in feeding mine eggwhite. Do I just boil the egg and crumble it up before I put it in the tank?

I feed my fish shrimp, tilapia and some veggies. It should be fine. Just don't give gum balls or chocolate bars!

fruit should be ok, im not sure about all fish but every time animal planet does a show about piranhas they allways say they prefer fruits and nuts over meat lol (doubt it)

hot dogs are bad? is it b/c theyre too faty or is there some other reason? i used to give them to my wild crayfish and the ones he didnt eat made the water cloudy and disgusting

i fed grapes twice. make sure there are no leftovers...those things really cloud up your tank :O

ive fed mine little chicken,turkey, and beef link thingies. They love it, but w/e they dont eat I take out.
