Feeding fry to larger fish

I have been told if you have two adults there is a good chance they won't get along. But if the grow up together there is a good chance they will be fine together. I just got this little guy two weeks ago and i planned on getting another one from the same store.

Ok, I get ya now. Had it in my mind that you had them for a few months. Dont see a problem then, if you have enough space.

Ok, sorry for the mix up. I have a 125g set up for them just letting them grow a little in a smaller tank so I'm sure they get enough to eat and save me a lot of time on water changes.

Sounds like you have enough room and an understanding. Back to feeder fish... Are ya feeding the guppies right before you throw them in? A gut full of quality food just gets passed on, if ya catch my drift.

I learned about gut loading when keeping reptiles, I assumed the same applies here to the fish. So I load them up and send them on their way.
