Hey everyone,For all the people who feed Hikari food sticks to their aro's.Did feeding food sticks slow down the growth rate?Does it help in enhancing colour?
I have kept my RTG on strict Hikari food sticks diet.
Please reply.

My bass put on 3 inches in 3 weeks on tilapia and carni sticks. Keep feeding them, they're steroids. Plus it brings out their colors better than anything else

I've seen other people's Arowana grow fast with the Hikari Sticks as staple diet.

Unfortunately for me, my Aro would never feed on it regardless of how long I starve it.

In younger silver arowanas, Hikari sticks really brings out their natural colors. It also helps with maintaining a good body shape. If it is only on Hikari sticks, growth rate my not be as fast as other natural foods.

Agreed. Mine is blue and pink. I'll try to catch a pic when I get home. I put my hikari sticks inside little pieces of tilapia for my bass to pellet train, so mine eats tilapia but mostly sticks

I feed mine prawns got really good colour black and pink just won't eat pellets at all unless in a prawn. Don't want to starve him to many fish in the tank for him to try and eat haha.

Pellets would be the best option for nutrition. Food with more protein is for growth. Varied diet is the best way to go for nice color development and fast growth.
