I thought I should share a few pics of these guy's I inherited and really changed my life! They really are amazing especially this guy, he's so social and loves to interact with me, I just can't believe the actual connection we have! Truly amazing!

These 2 are the other guy and gal I inherited... Their super cool and fun too but not even close to how social my Blue is. They were all together at my brothers place but the orange guy was bullying Blue and in turn Blue would go chase (but that's all he would do is chase) after yellow proving in all worlds **** rolls downhill... Sorry! So, in transit my Blue somehow got hurt or some injuries and I had planned on taking Blue out and getting a new tank for him and some little friends anyway. But then he got the bacterial infection which I treated then turned into a fungal infection... He had a rough go of it but been a strong, happy fish through it all and gotten much bigger being able to eat and not be tormented.. So the tank you see him in is an extra tank my brother had and I used it for a hospital tank. I have a brand new 40 gallon tank for him after treatment which is almost done. I have nice sand for the substrate and will be getting some nice rock amenities for him to maneuver through and take a rest, I wasn't sure if I should go with just a few plastic plants sparcely or? I definitely want him to have a real beautiful comfortable place! I really am down for the count with all these sweet fishes, I love them all! I am reading, watching, and listening trying to learn all and everything I possibly can to make sure they live as long as they possibly can in as much luxury as possible! So any and all suggestions and input and help is truly appreciated and I my guy's and gal thank you so much!!!

I'm going out of my mind with these poor little fish! Now the gold severum which is in another tank with a huge red spotted hero has this going on! Looks like a protruding anus??? And a red line through her back fin... I need help please!!!

Are you sure that's not the breeding tube?
I have no idea??? She's very small, about 2 and a half to 3 inches... The red is about 8 inches... I know their size difference doesn't mean much if anything... But, no... I have no idea! And the red line or lines through the back fin???

Take a picture from the side. Typically if you flip the fish on the side, and look underneath, it's anus then breeding genitalia (front to back). Oo for female O> male

This picture has the tail fin on the left and the head on the right.

Thank you for that rendering and answering me! It is definitely her breeding tube. Thank you again so much! What do you think the red line through her back fin is? I just noticed it so not sure how long it has been there... I know it hasn't always been there though...
