Just wanting to know what other owners are feeding their jardini. Also, how often are you feeding them?

I figured that I will be feeding a lot of smelt to my new 22" jar...any other suggestions?

if it eats pellets, make it a staple. Then a bit of shelled, raw shrimp, cut in small pieces, mussels, fish ( if you do not mind it acquiring a taste for fish ), wonderworms ( go easy on those, they love it ,but my bigger Jar got uncurable protruding anus out of it ). No rocket science in there...but if it eats pellets don't loose that upside on no account.

Miguel ...i did not know that it could not be cured? sorry to hear it.:(

Mine gets a lot of shelled raw shrimp. And leopard frogs. occasional crayfish... Small bullfrogs too. The frogs really get his affectionate side going......LMAO. Mine only gets fed 3-4 times a week. I have to eat too.

does anyone know where i could get live frogs the cheapest for feeding? they don't have them at n e bait store that i know of around here. Or does anyone just so happen to know of any frogs that are really easy to breed?

Mine (and the rest of my monster comm) eats superworms gutloaded with cucumber and pellets as a staple, with frogs, crickets, feeders (mostly for the pbass) and live shrimp as snacks.
