Feeding Lung fish

The point is not how healthy, or how big your lung fish is.

The point, in reality is; goldfish are not an ideal staple, nor are they nutritious, and they carry many parasites as any body here will tell you. Just not good practice, once again.

Fish also need a varied diet, anyway.

Your fish is nice, has some size to it, but there are quite a few of us with lungfish like that, size wise, and color wise. It being huge and white does not mean it is an exception, and can be fed solely a cloud of goldfish.

And, you missed my whole point about the cloud of goldfish. That group of goldfish is producing a lot of wastes that is ALSO unhealthy for the lungfish,

and to be quite blunt, your water looks like S---T.

We are just giving you wise, experienced advice that could help you and your fish have a much more enjoyable, and even more healthy life.

I feed mine pellets, market shrimp, fish fillets and would like to try feeding it with fruits and seeds cause i read somewhere that they ate it in the wild...and it's pretty active and likes to swim near the surface of the water and up near the air stone too...

Well I think your making a lot of quick conclusions you claim that the water looks like s--t..I presume you aim at the bubbles at the water surface....(can there maybe be a big airstone just outside of the picture).
Or is it the algae...I leave it in the tank to minimize stress.
he does not like it when I clean out his tank.

And if you look at the picture closely you see there is a big Bio filter under the tank wich can easily cope with the waist of the feederfish. If it does not I will notise... I'm not new to keeping fish and water.



And I did not put the pictures up to show off or anything...but I think a picture says more than a thousand words. What I was trying to say with these pictures,, If you keep a fish in ****ty water and a ****ty diet" it will not thrive. Thats why I put up the before and after picture.
(BECAUSE ANYONE CAN TALK **** BUT A PICTURE PROVES IT.. DOESN'T IT)

I so fckn hate it to defend myself. But I can't really appreciate it when someone makes Acquisitions that I'm not taking good care of my fish.

While we are on the subject of feeding ,my lungfish Goliath,is really doing good now.
Iam feeding him about every 2-3 days,and a good assortment as well. He seems to favor beef heart cut into 3/8" pieces about 3" long and good sized market shrimp sliced lengthwise,also tilapia cut like the beef heart. The one thing that concerns me is how much to feed him. I don't want to feed him so much that he ignores the food and create a bacterial problem.(by the way what are worm sticks and where can i get some for him to try?)
I have tried to feed live nightcrawlers and he crushes them and then spits them out creating a large cloudy messs .I am trying to stay away from live feeders as in the past i've had no good luck with them.
