There are cockroaches that can be fed to fish, well that is a cultured roach for you. Blaptica Dubia, And some Madagascar Hissers, get them from some reptile enthusiast for a good deal. Ofcourse gut loading, cleaning, husbandry and breeding them would be another topic but it would be in the same page as it comes in for that...
However don't ever think of offering wild/pest roaches to any fish you're risking too much for those insects.
^Have to chop them first if you do want to feed them, freeze em first then chop chop. Hissers are not that prolific so you gotta save them up. And I wouldn't risk to catch, go for domesticated ones, visit a local reptile shop or a forum for it, then ask for hissers, most of the said local breeders could teach you how to breed or take care for em and confirm it in net.![]()
