i feed them live caught crickets, grass hoppers, gekos, buterflys, cockroaches and they happily eat them... love watching them eat....

IMO i'd watch what you feed especially on like the cockroches they all can carry diseases. I've been thinking about feeding but it seems like a lot of the exoskeleton would cause damage to the polys. Have you had any problems with feeding crickets? also has anyone else fed crickets i feel like i should try and feed them now.

Be careful with things that might tear their stomachs lol

haha no probs feeding them crickets.... only thing is remove the two big legs which is used for jumping.... those legs are quite powerful and might be harmful for ur fish... i m thinking of stopping feedin cockroaches coz they culd carry diseases as u said... do crickets carry diseases??

As far as I know, because they're diet is mostly veggie and such so crickets should be fine, I wouldn't feed mine roaches lol I wouldnt want to handle them anyway haha

There are cockroaches that can be fed to fish, well that is a cultured roach for you. Blaptica Dubia, And some Madagascar Hissers, get them from some reptile enthusiast for a good deal. Ofcourse gut loading, cleaning, husbandry and breeding them would be another topic but it would be in the same page as it comes in for that...

However don't ever think of offering wild/pest roaches to any fish you're risking too much for those insects.

my thoughts exactly EC, the hissers would have to be small of sens. plus you may even get a disease from that by interacting with the water, one that your sens may not be susceptible too. how do you catch and feed them? handling them is sketchy imo

^Have to chop them first if you do want to feed them, freeze em first then chop chop. Hissers are not that prolific so you gotta save them up. And I wouldn't risk to catch, go for domesticated ones, visit a local reptile shop or a forum for it, then ask for hissers, most of the said local breeders could teach you how to breed or take care for em and confirm it in net.
