Doesn't specialised Flowerhorn food increase the kok and the redness tho? or will Hikari do this just as well?

The size of the kok and boldness of color is predetermined by its genetics. As long as you keep the water clean and feed him a quality food, he will bloom. Hikari should be just fine.

Is there any colour enchancing foods i can mix with his Hikari that will make his red brighter?

kok enhancing foods are like snake oil a waste of money, i would feed NLS.

you can buy from here in the uk, it's not that expensive it's very dense so you don't need that much

Still alot more money than Hikari, i pay £8.79 for 250g Hikari Cichlid Gold

For 300g of NLS it is double the price plus you have to pay postage.

Is NLS really that much better?
