Feeding my silver aro HELP

Is there a certain kind of pellets I should be looking for? Predator sticks, specific aro pellets, or what?

I use hikari cichlid gold large size, they break up easier then the small pellets.

live brine shrimp or break the hikari sticks up into small pieces so he can fit it in his mouth.

Don't crickets do damage to small aros' digestion because of the shell?

stay away from the crickets till about 7".

I have two silvers now. Both raised from two inches with baby crickets. Biggest is about 8 inches now. Both eat hikari pellets and full grown crickets with the occasional other bug of sorts. stay away from FD krill. seems to kill them. if fed regularly. Neither has drop-eye yet, but I'm sure that's coming. Stay away from live feeder fish. they will bring disease. babies are very fragile.
