yea the rats gutpopped. i think about 3 did...i went a lil over board with the hot water because towards the end i was just in a rush and needed to pick up ellie.

So the first pic is the mad hatter in HOT water?
:irked:

Ah well, I hang the rats in plastic bags to defreeze.

Dont your bunnies dislike the smell of the herps?
Apart from the lovelyness I might see some terrifying shine in their eyes.

im lost about the 1st quote lol

i think both both bunnies r used to it.
the black and white one teases the burm if hes out, so iv stopped letting him out.
but when he gets the chance he will lay in front of the burm viv, then all of a sudden the childcatcher will go for him, smack the glass, and man does that rabbit move lol i swear he just flies across the room....im just waiting for the burm to come crashing through the glass, rabbit would bloody deserve it lol

but they have all been bought up together.
x

and your ok with rat guts all over your snakes and there enclosures....?
sorry but thats pretty gross

well yes...it happens. iv had rats split from the boa grabbing wrong. rabbits guts have come out after the burm has struck it too hard on the stomach.

the snakes get washed and so do their enclosures lol u think i let my animals sit their in rotting animal entrails and the post on here??? haha yea right.

im not happy it happened and yea im not keen on it but its a fact of life....feeding snakes dead animals doesnt always go smoothly.
a chick head fell off yesterday...hey ho.

Sweet, I only have one snake so I don't usually buy frozen. I just grab the rat by the tail and smack it on the ground a couple times... Alittle cruel but effective, once Loki graduates to rabbits I might have to take the frozen route. But awesome collection, feeding time is has always been a highlight of reptile keeping. :]

see lol i cant kill....i grew up around a slaughter house...ud think id have no problem doing it lol but no.
plus over here we dont live feed, we have to check it over with the animal cruelty people first and prove that it wont eat unless its live. shops wont sell snakes and rats. and arnt allowed to sell rats or mice or rabbits to people that have snakes in case of being fed.

the rabbits i get are free. my next dorr neighbour goes rabbiting so i get anything that cant feed a family of 10 lol every few nights they come round with a fresh rabbit, its brilliant. tbh they bought an extremely small one round the other night that mi might try a boa on in a few weeks.

but i have a thing with the man at the reptile shop so i usually get a very cheap deal on food.:headbang2

ha i must be doin somethin wrong then... i have never had one split or pop.... ever. and my big boas have hit them pretty freakin hard almost pulling me with them.
unless they are too old or half rotten i dont see why they would do this
