Feeding Peanut Bunker

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I actually mentioned bunker on my list of fish foods recently, I think I titled it: fish foods big list or something like that.

I found some yesterday morning that the striped bass chased on to the shore
Bad idea to feed wild caught bait fish to your aquarium fish. You have no idea what kinds of pathogens, parasites, etc. those fish probably have. Incredibly risky, I would not do it.

Cool, I used to collect small feeders from around lakes, especially after it rains, fish get stuck in puddles, I'd rescue many of them and take a few as feeders

Actually wild feeders tend to have less transferable pathogens than store bought, that being said just freeze em for a while

I wouldn't personally take the chance, incase there is something that our home freezers can't kill, plus with all the pollution nowadays, who knows what that fish has been exposed to, but hey maybe that's just me

I'm with GS on this. Why take the risk when there are so many safer alternatives? At the very least freeze them prior to feeding.
