What do you guys feed your plecos? I used the Algae wafers but now my TSN hits everything in the tank and I can't get any food to stay on thr bottom long enough. I was gonna tie some vegitables to a rock or something and see if that works
I feed mine algea wafers but I dont have a TSN. I feed mine cuecumbers and they really enjoy that and I bet your TSN wouldn't like the taste of that. I also feed them new life spectrum to them but you TSN would probably eat that aswell. I guess try vegatables.
cucumbers broccoli lettuce (i make sure i buy organic though so i have no chemicals) and many other vegies work thats just all i use he loves broccoli though
algae wafers frozen blood worms toss the cube in frozen so it gets to the bottom potatoe zuccinni cucumber peas and chopped up earth worms and sinking shrimp pellets
Hey John whats up! I know the TSN are garbage pits and will eat anything. The best luck I have had with herbivore plecos is cucumbers either weighed down under a rock, rubberbanded(if thats a word) to something or use air line suction cups and stick it to the side of the glass. One of these should work, good luck. You going to east coast again on the 12th. Its going to be packed tight in that place.
Yeah I'll go can't get anything right now but looking foward to meeting everyone. I think I'll try tying down some vegies hopefully that works cuz that dam tank is so tall I can barely touch the bottm on a 3 foot ladder
My common Pleco will eat anything, My Bristlenose an Gibby Love cucumber but will eat any left overs on the gravel, My gold nugget im not sure what he likes yet just got him today.
