Mine love cucumber, zuchinni, shrimp pellets. I used to boil the veggies but they always fouled the tank so now i buy those large suction cups with the hooks on them. Slice the cucumbers in half and impale them on the hook. In 2 days theres nothing left . Not only that, makes for some easy pics as they all swarm all over it. Mostly the royals and clowns and Tiger plecos. The royals seem to prefer the skin. I also feed a Rhino and sailfin in another tank. Soon as my hand leaves the tank there on it. Strange thing about the rhino they eat the insides and leave the skin of the cucumber, never eat that. You can usually find those hooks in the craft stores. Works great! No waiting....
have you EVER thought that TSN are nocturnal too? It's useless to feed the pleco at night when the problem is another nocturnal fish eating its food, isn't it?
jsodwi,
What pleco is it? Some species, like the Pseudacanthicus probably won't even look to vegetables, imagine eat it. Got any pic?
