I imagine it would be very messy. Not sure if their digestive system is up to it either. I'll go out on a limb and say its a bad idea but someone here may know more about it.
Sound like a strange idea to me when you have all the other foods available to feed them but as said above,someone may come along and prove that its the best thing since sliced bread lol.

well i know people feed angel fry boiled egg yoke, so i wouldnt see why you cant feed it to polys. but again it will be very messy.
my dad said that when he was a kid he fed it to his livebreeders and they loved it
