Feeding polys mammalian meat?

im glad i asked this, it seems that there is a difference in opinions which is always good for learning. i guess im gonna do a little digging and see what i can find about fish digestion and mammalian fats and bones. i know largemouth bass and northern pike also enjoy mice and rats on occasion, even birds and reptiles too.

I've thought about this before and at the end of the day I can't justify feeding my darlings something mammal meat. Why do I want to do that? I can get a big thing full of healthy worms for less than the cost of a pack of frozen beef-heart. I'd feel better giving them a worm than a pinky that could potentially end up undigested bone wise. It's not like they can pass that easily if the bones get stuck ;/

Why take the risk?

I have no idea on whether that'll affect your polys but if it was me, i wont do it. Way too worried it might be bad.
