I feed my raphael sinking cichlid pellets. He vacuums them up like crazy. But when they were little I put it in there and turned the light out and they ate when no one was looking.

OKAY! The arowana gave in... he's only willing to eat freeze dried blood worms

My latest batch of Aros (3) gets fed 5 x a day...Just a little bit not to the brim, I try to keep them hungry...it works to feed them variety...
Try to implement Hikari Food Sticks...it's the floating pellet that has the silver Aro on the package...it is the one I use for the base food, then I supplement with Prawns, meal worm, krill, F/D bloodworm...
