so i have a peacock eel which i have been feeding it live black worms. But now i want to switch and i bought tubifex worms and so far my eel has not even taken a bite. It will just look at it and swim away. Any suggestions?

hmm odd i usewd to only feed my rtc/tsn twice A week but he ate still what are your water parameters and tank size

everything is normal...and its only a 25 g tank. im kinda getting desperate now. it hasnt even touch the tubifex worms in a week

I'm having the same problem. I got a Peacock Eel about a few days ago and have yet to see it eat my Tubifex blood worms I'm putting in there for it. From what I've read on here, they prefer to eat in the dark. People also say that they feed them with little feeding claws so they can release the worms right in front of them instead of feeding them on the surface. I'm going to buy a feeding claw and try feeding him at night. I'll come back on here and let you know what happens.

So after trying frozen tubifex and frozen blood worms, i went searching for any lfs that sold live blackworms because my old one closed down. SO i 've been feeding him live black worms which he currently loves to eat
