Are there any other tankmates with him.....

yes, I forgot a polypterus ornatipinis 10 inches and I made a mistake, there is no red terror

Yes, the peacock is dominated, but in my experienced of american cichlids, he is not often confront. So, if I understand, this is enough for him to be stressed and not eat so often

but, if he grow enough and be very large, is it going to be better?

i dnt kno how you feel but i feel that goldfish are not that healthy for fish and feeders from these pet stores carry all types of problems and your best breeding your own feeders i lost fish twice from a bad feeder they ate out a batch and both where within the nxt day just saying you'll never kno what these goldfish are doing internally to your fish till its to late and my fish that died where monster and healthy

More than likely he will not make it too large. He is going to get out competed for food and grow slower than your more aggressive stock. I made the mistake years.ago of keeping a pike.cichlid with mine and he bullied a few of mine to death none of them ever had any marks on them , I would just find them dead. It took awhile for me to figure out the pike was the cause. I personaly prefer not to keep central and south americans together cause central americans are almost always more aggressive there maybe a few exceptions but it has never worked well for me.
