Feeding problems

I've read about plecos being deceiving producing more waste then what they eat, though I also have a 2 inch pleco haha

I also have these sort of worms forming, I'm not sure what they are but I'm guessing it is from all the wasted food (that's what the LFS said too), all the water parameters are in a good condition.

i think that is planaria and what it is is from to much extra food....

i would say maybe a schoal of synodnotis petricola, however they may get eaten and are kind of expensive, so maybe a schoal of clown loaches?

I was also thinking of getting a UV sterilizer, would that help get rid of planaria? And should I be worried about planaria affecting my fish? Will salt help get rid of planaria?

Sorry Egon, just what I heard. I think mine does a pretty good cleaning job though so I think he is a good addition to the tank and carries his own weight.

You can solve the strings of pleco waste problem with some large snails, worked for me at least. I got 3 large snails about the size of a half-dollar coin, also help a little with algae.
