Feeding Rays Live Black Worms?

is there any problem with feeding blackworms to rays?

I only feed black worms to small pups to get them started eating, then quickly switch them over to other foods. Few reasons - costs, possible parasites and eliminating having rays that are "hooked" (pardon the pun) on one food type and being difficult to train on other foods afterwards.

you just have to check your blackworm batch, sometimes they can come with parasitic leeches, which will kill off your black worm population (for the price most of us pay for them, you don't to lose more than you have to).

dp.71 did you get your hystrix from Pedro at aquascape? As for the black worms make sure that they are clean. I have heard some stories of black worms which gave fish parasites. Just be careful
