Thanks blksubykid, and GL on your SDs.

What kind of pellets are you feeding them?

I have some large 4-6" black bar red hooks and they are pretty slow when it comes to sinking pellets with the amount of flow I have in the tank. 3mm pellets they have a hard time with but flakes they can take down but I want to get them on pellets like the rest of the tank.

I give my hooks, omega size small pellets the floating type. I feed them spectrum too, but I find it messy. The poop turn the water a pinkish color. My hooks are aso slow when it come to sinking pellet, but some will pick it off the bottom.

I feed my 3 thin barred silver dollars NLS. They are 4-5 inches and eat the 1mm pellet with gusto. They will dig in the gravel all day long waiting for the pellets.
