I have 2, 2-2.5" Senegal Bichir, pretty sure they are just babies. But I've been feeding them freeze dried blood worms in the morning and at night since I've had them. (About a week). And I ordered hikari sinking carnivore pellets and they came in today and I fed them about an hour ago. How many pellets should I feed these little guys a day? Ill attach a picture of the size of the senegals and the pellets.

Thanks!

Always err on the side of feeding more frequent smaller meals, as opposed to irregular large meals. It takes some time to figure out how much they eat per sitting, but probably just a couple/few pellets at a time. When my sens were smaller I had to break up the carnivore pellets for them, watch how much they eat and modify the quantity depending on how much/fast they eat. You'll know they're hungry when they start smelling the ground for food, they'll arch their backs and put their faces to the ground and look around. After they've finished if they continue searching they're likely still hungry add just a bit at a time until they seem content. With smaller polys you'll be able to see the bulges in their stomachs from the food they've eaten, this is a pretty good way to determine how much they've eaten.
