No problem with feeding it with the shell on, so long as any sharp parts are removed (Tail + Head)
If it can't eat the whole thing, just cut it into smaller pieces.
Doesn't feeding shrimps foul the water? Like I remember I used to feed my rays with shrimps and the water was stinking so bad(Hence the name stinkiray)
