So i was on ebay and saw a bunch of spirulina koi pellets for cheap. The ingredients are "spirulina, fish meal, wheat bran, shrimp meal, and dehydrated alfalfa meal. I was wondering how specefically GT's (but also cichlids in general) would do on a diet of hikari mixed with this spirulina pellet?(2:1) What about a diet using this spirulina pellet as the staple?

when it comes to feeding cichlids i try to avoid cheap but the ingredients sound fine so i wouldnt see a problem trying it. i wouldnt use it a a staple as its designed for koi and not cichlids so i would stick with a cichlid food for the staple.
