There's an Aquarium Adventure in Long Island, NY. Things are so overpriced there though... most things are at least double or 3x what I see at most places. I just go there to see the awesome displays. The one in Long Island has this large saltwater tank with 2 sharks I can't ID and a huge bumblebee grouper.

yeah there is a big salt tank there too but i didnt take any pics cause the lights where off

I stopped by that store before. Those tanks look a lot better than a few months ago (big algea bloom). I think both of those big tanks are over 2000 gallons. Crazy!

Yeah, that's a real cool store. Like someone said though, a lot of their stuff can be overpriced. It sounds like a pretty good deal for the pbass though.

yeah last time they are 15 and i was thinking about getting now then i went and they are 9 so i had to get it

Yeah... it was definately a good pickup. I'm down in Champaign for school now, but down here they are going for about 13 at the lfs.

What other fish stores do you go to around the Chicagoland area?

I like Living Sea Aquarium (great selection but usually pretty expensive) and Tropical World in Buffalo Grove (smaller, good prices, ok selection, but the people know their stuff and will bend over backwords to try to get you whatever you need).

There sw is really overpriced but most of there fw is fairly price. plus they have healthy fish.
