stick to a veggie based diet until gets bigger and older. there are still many things you could try
mine get, depending on sp. bloodworms about twice a week. carnivorous/omnivorous catfish pellets (everyday) and a cucumber every week. sometimes i give them treats, recently started trying mango, and shelled peas, lettuce etc. just experimenting on top of regular diet
What kind of pleco do you have?Mine gets zuchini carrot or peas twice a week.Hes really good ay cleaning algae, tank is spotless,Ill put a decoration or rock from another tank in there once or twice a week and hell have it spotless in a matter of hours.and he cleans up the oscars table scraps
You could start offering him some meat foods, but I would stick to primarily veggies and some fruits. Unless you want a huge carnivorous pleco! I had one, they are interesting, but not good for the overall effect of keeping a community tank! He's big. I would say 7-8"
