I've been feeding them sinking 3mm NLS up until today. I went to Petsmart and saw some Omega One floating pellets about the same size so thought I'd give them a try. Mmmm I tried them, they're delish. :grinno: Lol seriously though the snooks apparently like them. These guys have become quite the little beggars and even know what a canister of fish food is.

Awesome balton, they look great!

Nothing better than watching a shoal of big-mouthed cichlids tear at the surface of that water. I could sit in front of that tank all day :)

Great video, they sure do look healthy. I love the way they hit the floating food.

There we go. That's what I wanted to see. Very cool balton. Awesome set up too.

P.s. How big of tank is it? Looks roomy.

Finally a feeding vid :) They look awsome keep us updated.....

You can count on it.

There doing great!

Yours are looking good too....their red coloring is coming in nicely. I hope these guys spot up some more though. Do you know when the spot patterns start filling in?

That's a lot of fun!

Do they always hang out together?

They're pretty fun at feeding time. They often hang out in groups of 3 or 4. One little one always hides by itself, it never eats and might not make it if he/she doesn't braven up.

Me too, that's my favorite part. I can't wait to throw some june bugs or crickets to them.

Thanks a lot, that's what I was waiting to see too. :)

The tank is a 265 gallon...7' x 2' x 2.5'.

They can really pack it in! Snooks seem to never get full. How is the pike getting along with them?

They can sure put the pellets away alright. They'll keep eating until their stomach, throat and mouth are so full they won't hold any more. Both pikes are getting along fine with them. I have hopes the snooks will teach my sveni to eat pellets.
