I was thinking of finding her a mate, but in my area umbees are very hard to come by

Hello, I have a 7 inch umbee alone in a 100 gallon tank with many hiding spots because she is kind of shy, I'm trying to make her more aggressive, I was thinking of trying to give her live to give her abit more confidence, just wanted some other opinions ?
Also agree on dithers for your fish confidence, I let mine grow up with red devils and this particular batch seems to be quite aggressive towards the RD as I fed the 1/8 inch fry Rd's to the 0.5 inch Umbees but normally the red devils are more aggressive lol so size them up so the Umbees are at the top of the food chain, speaking of food I DO NOT recommend feeding lfs feeder of any kind not to a Umbee to much risk in bringing in new parasites/diseases, you want no set backs with these fish they will stop eating clamp fins ect... males seem for me to be more delicate than the harty females Ive kept, with that said I feed mine nightcrawlers for treats, key word treats, when I do feed them worms they get to gorge their selves, next day back on the pellets, if you spoil them they'll stop taking pellets, malnutrition could follow a good quality pellet is more important, any how good luck!
